LEGO and NASA have come together to send a LEGO set on a space shuttle into orbit this week. The Danish toy maker and the premier space agency are hoping to spark the interest of children in science, technology, engineering and math.

The Korean robotics industry is poised for growth. It is already the fourth largest industry as per robots in use. Dr. Lee Sang-moo, the Robot Program Director for the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology feels that the global robotics market has been on an upward trajectory this year.

The jerky motions associated with robots may soon be a thing of the past. The Locomorph project is currently studying robotic movement to help increase their usefulness. They are much inspired by the different aspects of movement available in nature, especially those of resilient three legged dogs.
