Redwood Robotics to Introduce the Next Generation Robot Arms

Redwood Robotics will be building the "next generation arm" for robots. The aim is to create an arm that does for robotics what the Apple II did for computers: get the hardware out of factories and into homes. The arm should be user friendly: simple to program, inexpensive, and safe to operate alongside people.

Research team at Georgia Institute of Technology and MIT has developed an automated method of analyzing and recording information from neurons present in the living brain. A cell-detecting computer algorithm-based robotic arm can both detect and record with high precision and speed, from neurons in the living mouse brain.

AeroVironment to Deliver RQ-11B Raven Small UAS to U.S. Marine Corps
