Automation Giant Moxa Receives ABB IIT Certification for Industrial Ethernet Switches

Moxa has declared that its industrial Ethernet switches including EDS-728, EDS-828, EDS-205A/208A, EDR-P510, EDS-G308, and EDS-G509, have been certified by the ABB Industrial IT program.

This recognition confirms the higher level of inter-functionality between various systems and products obtained from major suppliers in the industrial automation segment.

The certification program of ABB assures inter-functionality between third party suppliers and ABB’s systems and software and hardware products. The industrial Ethernet switches of Moxa have cleared several meticulous tests to prove their conformity with industrial standards for consistency and interoperability.

Various features of the industrial Ethernet switches of Moxa include QoS, tagged VLAN, turbo Ring redundancy and IGMP snooping. Further, their operating temperature range falls between -40°C and 75°C. All these features offer superior quality, endless compatibility and industrial recognition to the Ethernet switches.
