Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group has launched two latest DIN-rail PCs, which include 500 MHz processors, AMD Geode™ LX 800, UNO-1150G and UNO-1150GE. They incorporate a VGA port, 1 x RS-232 and 2 x RS-232/422/485 ports, featuring automated flow control, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x Ethernet ports, audio, maximum 921.6 Kbps speed/port and internal CompactFlash.
In addition, the UNO-1150GE includes one mini-PCI, SSD devices, two PCI-104 slots and one HDD bay for SATA HDD. The DIN-Rail PCs are highly compact. Other features include IP40 security, broad range of working temperature (-10 to 60°C), ground isolated chassis and absence of internal wiring and fans. They also include Advantech DiagAnywhere software for enabling remote monitoring.
The DIN-rail PCs support Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE and WES2009 with improved built-in device drivers, QNX and Embedded Linux drivers for including real-time embedded OS.
The DIN-rail PCs can also serve as interaction gateways and microcontrollers for various applications including factory automation, building automation, machine automation and renewable energy.
