Global Spec had hosted an online event “Industrial Automation and Robotic Systems” which saw participation from more than 2000 persons from different companies.
The virtual conference has now been made available to all engineers who wish to view educational presentations and details on leading resource suppliers. The event consisted of educational forums, details on manufacturers and suppliers and expert advice on the current technological trends . By participating in the event attendees gained in-depth knowledge of the current innovations in the industry and the key knowledge areas like drives, motors and controllers. Apart from these areas, the participants learnt about industrial robots, new products and networking protocols.
The vice presidents of Global Spec pointed out that majority of the participants were the decision makers in their respective organisations. She added that Global Spec had particularly focussed on providing the participants knowledge, which had both educational content and sufficient exposure to industrial trends. Some of the key topics covered at the event were, ’The Future of Global Automation and Robotics’ which was the keynote address,’ A Mechatronic Design Approach to Industrial Motion Control’, ‘Human Scale Automation’ and ‘Cost Savings Through Energy Monitoring’. The companies that attended the event were Phoenix Contact, Softing North America, Altech and Newark/element 14.
