KUKA Robotics Canada would be demonstrating its new unified controlled palletizing solution and the LWR lightweight robotic technology at PACKEX 2011. The palletizing solution would be displayed under the name KR 40 PA robot. It would be provided by exclusive Official Partners of KUKA Robotics System.
Along with the palletizing solution, KUKA would be presenting the LWR 4+, which is a lightweight robot having 7 axis and weighing 16 kg. The LWR 4+ has a payload capacity of up to 7 kg and is suitable for assembly tasks that require high precision and a powerful yet sensitive touch. The robotic movement is very much similar to the human arm movement. The operator would be able to guide the robot manually over a force-controlled surface and can also use the simple user interface for issuing control commands.
The KUKA Robotics Official System Partners would be displaying some of the other KUKA Robots. The partners participating at the PACKEX include Jantz Canada, CertoTech and Programmable Control Systems.
One of the important solutions from KUKA is the KUKA Robotics Passport Daily iPad Giveaway. The company would also be giving a seminar on “Applying Robotics in a Freezer Environment” on June 22 from 3.10 to 3.30 pm. This seminar would be of particular interest for businesses looking at streamlining their cold storage operations. The highlighting points of the seminar include market reviews, challenges faced by the equipment and a review of some successful applications.
