Moller International, Inc. (MI), the developer of the Skycar® a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capable, high-speed light aircraft, the Rotapower® line of fuel-efficient, low emissions, reliable rotary engines and the Aerobot® line of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) announced today that it has established a relationship with American Space Industries (ASI) of Menlo Park, CA to produce sub-scale models of the Skycar®.

Lockheed Martin’s Integrated C2 System Controls Multiple Types of UAS

During a recent demonstration at NAVAIR, Lockheed Martin monitored and controlled multiple types of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) from one integrated command and control (C2) system. Controlling both the unmanned air vehicles and their on-board mission system sensors, Lockheed Martin’s system fully integrated with other Navy C2 and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) planning and execution systems to provide operators with one comprehensive mission picture.

NASA Issues RFI to Understand Current Industry Plans for Robotic Lunar Landing Capability

NASA Tuesday issued a Request for Information (RFI) that will help agency officials better understand current plans in the U.S. commercial space industry for a robotic lunar landing capability. The RFI will assist NASA in assessing U.S. industry's interest in partnerships to develop a robotic lander that could enable commercial and agency missions.
