Mustangs Robotics Team Receives Best Project Presentation Award in iSpace Contest

‘The Mustangs’ robotics team of St. Michael School recently participated in the iSpace First Lego League Regional contest, which was held at Scarlet Oaks, and won the Best Project Presentation award.

Lego Robot contest requires students to develop a robot that can be programmed to perform particular tasks. Students should also take on a research project. The design of the robot, teamwork and presentation of the project will be judged.

The theme given to the teams was ‘Body Forward’. The Mustangs team selected heart attack as their topic for the project. Out of 20 contesting teams, they received the best presentation award.  They were also selected as First Lego League Team Ambassadors for iSpace for 2012. They will work with iSpace at events during 2012. They will also participate in the state contest, which will be held in February at the Nutter Center.
