Automation Company, Korber Purchases Seidenader

Korber Group, provider of packaging and automation solutions to the pharmaceutical segment, has acquired Seidenader Maschinenbau, Markt Schwaben.

Seidenader is a major developer of inspection devices, vision and software applications for pharmaceutical industries. The acquisition will enable Korber to augment its Pharmaceutical Packaging Systems Division, under the leadership of Korber Medipak.

The inspection systems of Seidenader for the healthcare sector will complement various services provided by the Korber Medipak Group. It was reported that the two earlier Managing Partners of Seidenader, Volker Weders-hoven and Nikolaus Seidenader will serve as Managing Directors.

Richard Bauer, CEO of Korber, has stated that by acquiring Seidenader, they can further widen their services in the upcoming healthcare segment.

According to Gerhard Breu, CEO of Korber Medipak and member of the Korber Executive Board, together they will work for further growth opportunities.
