Robotics Company, Adept Technology Purchases InMoTx

Adept Technology, global provider of intelligent and mobile robots, has declared acquirement of InMoTx, pioneer in food processing segment, for a sum of $4.3 million. The acquirement is likely to be completed by end of January 2011.

John Dulchinos, President and CEO of Adept Technology, stated that the acquirement of InMoTx has enabled their company to provide outstanding value addition to their customersthat require exceptional adaptability. He added that the acquisition will enable them to offer enhanced transportation of goods, fortifying their capability to automate the product handling process efficiently as well as providing traceability.

According to Preben Hjornet, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of InMoTx, by combining their proficient engineering teams with resources and infrastructure of Adept, the adoption of their technology and products involved in dealing organic products will be significantly accelerated. He added that both companies show synergies in terms of strong client focus.
