48th Design Automation Conference to Include User Track Forum

The 48th Design Automation Conference (DAC), an exclusive event for design and automation of electronic devices, is scheduled to be conducted at the San Diego Convention Center, California between June 5 and 10, 2011.

The 48th DAC will include User Track, a stirring forum for design experts to discuss their experiences with other professionals. Application engineers, design flow developers, systems designers, vendor-customer teams and IC designers can contribute their two-page abstracts for contemplation. A standard User Track submission addresses solutions of real-time issues pertaining to design flow’s EDA tools.

2011 User Track features latest Embedded Systems and Software category along with Front-end and Back-end Silicon Design. This depicts the improvement in activities related to Embedded System design. Also the presentations will address design issues or deal with an application domain like designing wire-free handsets.

Robert B. Jones, Sr. Principal Engineer, Intel and DAC User Track Chair, has stated that the user Track forum offers real-time and vital data on usage and superior design practices. He mentioned that it is a vital complement for the product demos on the display area. He added that participants at DAC 2010 found the user Track as one of the major inclusions of the conference.
