RPCI Awarded Training Accreditation

Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) has been accredited as a Training Institute for Robot-Assisted Surgery by the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU).

This development will help the institute to be a part of the SIU scholarship program for young urologists.

The awards provide a three-month Robot-Assisted Mini-Fellowships that includes laparoscopic and robot-assisted skills training and allows promising physicians to observe pertinent cases in the initial stages of their careers.

The institute was featured on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals–Cancer list, and was named a Leapfrog Top Hospital, besides a Magnet Recognition Program facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. It was also cited among the Best Places to Work in Academia by The Scientist magazine. The institute offers postdoctoral and graduate programs through the Roswell Park Graduate Division of the University at Buffalo.
