Nova Engineering Supports DoD’s Remote Sensor Systems Program

Nova Engineering, a global leader in the supply of digital software and hardware for communications as well as a competent provider of electronic systems for military applications, has received a five-year contract worth $52.8 million from the Department of Defense (DoD) for assisting the US Marine Corps’ Tactical Remote Sensor Systems (TRSS) program. Nova Engineering is an ancillary of L-3 Communications.

As per this agreement, Nova will supply all the required tools, vital services managing the program, all improvements and restoration necessities in realizing the TRSS program.

Mark Fischer, President of L-3 Nova Engineering expressed his pleasure over being chosen by the US Marine Corps for the continuation of the TRSS program. He added that their system can constantly update the defense personnel regarding the current status of the battlefield by performing various simultaneous activities of collecting, processing and transmitting the images. He concluded saying that this contract has depicted their obligation in upgrading and creating novel products to cope with the volatile market.
