EMC2 has announced that it will contribute two VEX robot kits to McDougle Middle School and the value of the contribution is $2,500.
The contribution will enable the Technology Student Association of the school to enroll two teams in the TSA VEX Robotics Contest.
It was reported that four students of the school will be trained by the company engineers by joining them in the TSA funded Redmond Griff, which is located at the EMC headquarters, Durham.
McDougle was one among the three schools in the Triangle to receive the donation. In recent years, the TSA chapter of McDougle has bagged several state and national level prizes and the team has marked its first entry in a robotics contest.
