Roundspring to Display Remote Operated Safety Attendant at 43rd ATSSA Expo

Roundspring Technologies, Inc., developers of ROSA, the Remote Operated Safety Attendant, announced today that the company will appear at the American Traffic Safety Service Association’s 43rd Annual Convention and Traffic Expo in San Diego, Calif., February 22-26, 2013. Roundspring Technologies is a member of the association. The company will occupy booth #523 in the new exhibitor pavilion.

“In effect, this is ROSA’s coming out party and we are very excited to introduce her to more highway safety and roadway construction executives from around the country,” said John Williams, CEO of Roundspring Technologies and ROSA’s inventor. “Our product doesn’t cost anyone their job, but it absolutely will keep people out of harm’s way. Sending highway workers home safely is this product’s biggest benefit.”

Williams says ROSA will save the lives of hundreds of state, county, city and private road construction and maintenance workers this year and hopes to make the device available to as many users as possible. Without costing roadway workers their jobs, ROSA allows flaggers to control traffic from the safe zone, out of imminent danger and hazardous weather conditions.

Since 1970, ATSSA’s members have been making roads safer in the highway community. ATSSA includes five organized divisions as well as International, Traffic Engineering & Design Firm, Individual Consultant, and Individual Manufacturers Representative members. The association's current membership totals approximately 1600.
