Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) is showcasing a selection of cameras at Automate 2013 in Chicago from January 21-24. Automate is the largest solutions-based showcase of automation technologies in North America.
Mako: North American Premiere
Highlights include AVT’s new Mako camera family that will make its North American debut at Automate after being introduced at VISION 2012 in Stuttgart, Germany in November 2012.
Mako is an ultra-compact mainstream machine vision camera with an excellent price/performance ratio. Mako cameras include the latest fast and sensitive CCD and CMOS sensors, a high-quality robust housing, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Seven Mako models with GigE Vision interface and resolutions from VGA to 4 megapixels will be available in the first quarter of 2013. The Mako will also be available later in 2013 with a USB3 Vision interface.
Manta G-095: GigE camera with ICX692 EXview HAD II sensor
The Manta G-095C features Sony’s EXview HAD II ICX692 sensor (1292 x 734 pixels) that provide very good sensitivity both in the visible and NIR spectrum. In addition, the Manta G-095C incorporates three LUTs, sophisticated color correction algorithms, a robust metal housing, and modular options such as angled heads, board-level versions, and PoE (Power over Ethernet).
Prosilica GT: Cameras for Extreme Environments
Other camera highlights at Automate will include the high resolution 29 Megapixel Prosilica GT6600, and the GT2050 with its CMOSIS CMV-4000 sensor that offers high sensitivity, fast frame rates, and high dynamic range.
