Tregaskiss, a global leader in the manufacture of MIG welding guns and peripherals, has expanded its range of QUICK LOAD liners by releasing three new wires of sizes 0.030, 1/16-5/64in and 0.078-3/32 inch wires, thereby minimizing downtime and the cost of the MIG gun. Liners are available for Tregaskiss’ MIG Guns for lengths up to 25 feet for semi automatic applications and up to 15 feet for robotic guns.
QUICK LOAD liners features a two piece system with retainers installed inside the power pin on its first use, facilitating easy daily maintenance when compared to traditional liners. The liner portion of the Quick Load liner then feeds from the front of the neck while remaining attached to the gun and during subsequent liner substitutes does not necessitate severing the wire in the MIG gun either. Only the front-end components like the nozzle, retaining head, contact tip are removed and glide the liner over the wire employing it as a guide. The Quick load liners for .078” - 3/32” liner sizes entail the latest 415-24 QUICK LOAD Liner Retainer and the existing 415-26 retainer is utilized in the rest of the liner sizes.
It is not necessary to climb up to change the liners in semi-automatic guns connected to boom mounted feeders. During robotic applications, QUICK LOAD Liner reduces idle time by minimizing the troubles involved in tool handling and also during the dismissal of MIG gun from the feeder. During a temporary cessation in manufacture, the liner can be changed from a safe zone outside the robotic work cell. Quick Load liners are very useful when integrated with Tregaskiss's Tough Gun Thruarm Series robotic MIG guns due to the close network of wire feeders in the through-arm system, located next to the robot’s molding which will be difficult to move during traditional liner alteration.
