Mazor Robotics, a provider of revolutionary surgical robots and complementary products, recently declared that its Renaissance system has been procured by Parker Adventist Hospital, which is a 140-bed community hospital located in metropolitan Denver, Colorado. Parker Adventist Hospital is a division of Centura Health System, which is Colorado’s extensive hospital and healthcare network.
At present, Parker Adventist Hospital is the onlyhospital in its area to provide Renaissance system-based spine surgery.
According to the CEO of Mazor Robotics, Ori Hadomi, the company’s Renaissance system has been selected by Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery- designated Parker Adventist Hospital. Denver is a major market for spine surgery, and the installation of Renaissance system at this Denver-based hospital has enabled Mazor Robotics to venture within this market.
