During the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s (NBWA) Annual Convention, a Cimcorp Oy company called RMT Robotics will deliver a presentation titled “The Case for Robotics: A First Look the 2012 Automation of One of North America’s Largest Beer Distribution Centers”. The presentation will be hosted on October 16, 2012, around 2:00 p.m. in San Diego, California.
The application engineer of RMT Robotics’ Automated Warehousing Systems, Tom Pollard, P. Eng., will deliver a presentation with the commentary of ex-director of information technologies, Brewers Distributor (BDL). The seminar will give a detailed description on innovative automation such as the decision-making process, the advantages and disadvantages of implementation, the justification and the extended factors responsible for powering the automation of the large beer distribution center within North America.
According to Pollard, RMT Robotics Company anticipates presenting one of the NBWA educational seminars in the year 2012. This seminar will serve to be a platform for discussing its latest installation and will also update beer distributors on the potential of robotic gantry systems to regulate and revolutionize distribution facilities.
During the 2012 NBWA convention, representatives and experts from RMT Robotics will demonstrate their robotic gantry case and layer picking solutions and new designs that serve as cost-effective solutions benefiting smaller distribution centers.
This year’s NBWA 75th Annual Convention will start on October 14 and will continue till October 7, 2012 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
