United Technologies’ unit, UTC Aerospace Systems will exhibit its complete range of systems for security, fire-fighting, law enforcement and defense applications at the AUVSI show to be conducted from August 6 to 9, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UTC Aerospace Systems will showcase its micro-UAS and its terrain proximity (TERPROM) navigation software and inertial sensors ideal for tiny and large UAVs to facilitate navigation, control and guidance.
The UTC Aerospace Systems booth will have the Cloud Cap Technology Piccolo autopilot, which is the industry standard in open architecture autopilots, offering better performance and reliability with feature rich capabilities. The company will demonstrate the Cloud Cap Technology TASE gimbals, which include the latest TASE 400 model, delivering superior performance in the minimal size, weight and power.
UTC Aerospace Systems will also display its sensors unlimited short-wave infrared (SWIR) cameras, which demonstrate the SWIR capability with high resolution in a very compact format. Their ruggedized format and lightweight size make them ideal for smaller UAV applications, while delivering all the advantages of being able to view through smoke, haze and fog.
UTC Aerospace Systems’ technical teams will be available to answer questions and deliver expert demonstrations at the show.
