Itris Automation Square (IAS), a provider of products for verification, documentation and conversion of PLC programs, has announced that it has become a member of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA).
IAS is a software company based in Grenoble, France. The products provided by IAS are designed to help write programs faster.
The CSIA is a global professional association that brings together more than 400 control systems integrators and automated software tool suppliers. The association has been advancing the business practices for control system integration. It performs various activities including establishment of best practices, organization of events, and certification. These are then published by the CSIA in professional guides.
CSIA was founded in 1994, and since then it has been striving to advance the business practices in the field. CSIA strives to create demand and recognition for its certified members by bringing system integration to the market. The association endeavors to improve the performance and the best practices for system integration. It creates networking opportunities for its members and provides a forum enabling them to share their expertise in the industry.
Itris Automation Square intends to gain significant benefit from joining the CSIA. It intends to develop its integrator network and also improve its distribution of tools for the industry.
The General Manager of IAS, Éric Pierrel expressed his pleasure in joining the CSIA. The company had performed a program conversion for a Florida-based U.S. integrator, he said. Pierrel added that the company is confident about the potential opportunities available in the North American market.
