Adept Technology declared that it will demonstrate the efficiency of the Adept Quattro s650H robot during the ProPak China 2012 event scheduled from July 18-20, 2012 in Shanghai, China. Higher productivity and food safety can be obtained by incorporating the Adept Quattro s650H robot in automated, high-speed packaging applications.
Adept’s stand will be in the PMMI area of ProPak 2012 and its main highlight will be Quattro robots in two flexible handling, high-performance, demonstration systems having integrated conveyor-tracking and vision-guidance technologies.
China-based Austong Intelligent Robot Technology has been selected by Adept for providing packaging solutions. Using the Quattro robot, Adept will demonstrate its high-speed carton packing system. The Adept Quattro s650H has been designed especially for high-speed production, packaging, assembly, and material handling applications and is a parallel robot. Being the world’s only robot with a four-arm rotational platform, this robot ensures excellent performance in addition to high speed and acceleration across the complete working area. The Adept Quattro has the potential to allow maximum throughput in companies’ production lines. Besides minimizing the factory area for the work cell, the embedded amplifiers and powerful compact controls also ensures achieving simplified installation. Quattro robot is an ideal solution of choice for flexible packaging, raw food handling, material handling, kitting, and assembly applications due to its high performance, speed and precision and its compliance with USDA for meat and poultry processing.
The year 2012 marks the 18th anniversary for this China-based leading processing and packaging technology trade show. ProPak 2012 show will be hosted at Shanghai New International Expo Center and will be co-located with China DairyTek 2012 and China BevTek 2012.
