Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance System Deployed at Southwest NeuroSpine Institute

Mazor Robotics declared that Southwest NeuroSpine Institute located in El Paso, Texas has procured its Renaissance system. Renaissance is Mazor’s next-generation robotic surgical guidance system effective for spine surgeries. Renaissance is a unique robotic technology platform particularly developed for spine surgery.

Southwest NeuroSpine Institute is a specialty neurosurgery practice that also serves the Southern New Mexico region, in addition to providing excellent medical services at El Paso and the West Texas. Dr. George Martin is a spine fellowship trained, board certified neurological surgeon.

George Martin, MD, FAANS, said that he anticipates installing and deploying the Renaissance system within his surgical performance. Robotic spine surgery is considered as the prospect of neurological surgery and will contribute to achieving the best results in treating patients.
