This year’s Automatica took place at Munich again. This event serves as a platform for all leading international automation industry.
The fifth International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics had 31.000 visitors from over 100 countries and over 720 exhibitors from 40 countries. The 2012-show results surpassed the outcome of the previous event held in 2010.
One of the TM Robotics demonstrations was a center-piece to all the attendees at the show. Based on a new gripper from Robotiq, Toshiba Machine TV800 6-axis robot virtually demonstrated its meticulous skill of carefully lifting golf balls, raw eggs, stress balls and bottles. This fully programmable, adaptive gripper allows a powerful grip over various part shapes from flat to cylindrical, square, spherical or irregular. The grippers possess a variety of gripping modes and high-accuracy control of force, speed, and finger position to provide high flexibility for handling delicate or brittle parts.
TM Robotics will also exhibit at the next AUTOMATICA scheduled from 20 to 23 May 2014.
As a pioneer in Industrial Robots, TM Robotics Europe provides Toshiba Machine SCARA robots that are simple yet efficient. The company’s Industrial Robots offer increased productivity, efficiency and cost-efficiency.
