Adept Technology, a supplier of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile solutions declares that it will demonstrate its Adept ePLC Connect solutions at the AUTOMATICA show in Munich, Germany next week at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.
With the intent to adopt into Siemens' SIMATIC S7-300 series controllers, the ePLC Connect solution was expanded.
By using ePLC Connect software, users can achieve comprehensive programming of a robot from a Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 via Ethernet IP. This plug-and-play software integrates with existing Siemens PLC, without requiring any extra hardware. The customer's current expertise, skill and equipment will contribute an extensive range of applications that can be rapidly achieved in compliance with FDA Title 21 CFR Part-11 regulations. This will ensure cost-effective robotic programming.
Adept Technology will showcase a PLC-controlled robotic system. Demonstration will highlight the efficiency and multiple features of PLC and its intelligent flexible automation advantages. The ePLC Connect server can be efficiently linked to the Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 series PLC control architecture or the customer's Allen-Bradley design.
This product upgrade is an important part of Adept's initiative to promote the advantageous features of robotics to a wide range of users. In addition, further developments will be carried out to simplify robot integration. It enables new customers to simply and easily install, operate, and support high-performance robots, eliminating the need to know a new programming language apart from PLC knowledge and expertise.
