Elbit Systems Receives $160 M Contract to Expand UAS in Europe

Elbit Systems recently declared that it has achieved contract from a European customer, which is worth $160 M.

As per the contract, Elbit Systems will deliver Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to its European customer. The systems are scheduled to be delivered in another two years.

According to the President and CEO of Elbit Systems, Joseph Ackerman, after several years of extensive operational service expertise along with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and also with other world leading armed forces for Air, Land and Special Forces, a large number of global customers have resolved that UAS from Elbit Systems are the best solution of choice for performing efficient operations. With technological advancement, and a clear picture of customer demands, the continuing development processes of UAS has been subjected to modifications in accordance to the varying requirements of the modern battlefield and logistic support. Through this initiative, Elbit Systems can be an established firm in this field. This new award represents a major milestone in the series of other recently achieved UAS contract awards. More and more customers will continue to select Elbit System’s UAS to be deployed in various applications.
