Global Monitoring introduces the Messenger GMU8120 Remote Monitoring Unit (RMU) to remotely monitor and control the groundwater remediation systems that usually lack an operator.
The Messenger GMU8120 Remote Monitoring Unit offers real-time operating status of pumps, tank level, and other instruments involved in groundwater remediation systems. In addition, it minimizes equipment downtime, labor and costs related to field equipment repairs and also ensure remote predictive maintenance. This remote terminal unit (RTU) is capable of maintaining records of equipment operations that will enable upgrades or creating new equipment designs.
The rugged GMU8120 Remote Monitoring Unit can be modified according to various sensor types as well as 16 inputs. It can be used to evaluate temperature, liquid level, pressure, and for remote control tasks. An alarm processor can alert the key personnel about any problem through telephone or computer. The information on remote monitoring unit will enable the service personnel to solve efficiently.
The GMU8120 Remote Monitoring System can exchange information through optional cellular data or Ethernet interfaces and via standard phone-line interface. The RMU can adopt an optional m2mLive monitoring network, ensuring worldwide operations.
The GMU8120 is compatible with existing phone or fax line. The RMU is capable of autonomous operation, with simple set-up and operations. Global Monitoring’s pre-configured, plug and play replacement RMU allows easy installation.
GMU8120 Remote Monitoring Unit can also be used for industrial applications like small building management and machine monitoring and diagnostics. Units are designed using a self-contained battery backup and international power supply.
