Mazor Robotics, a supplier of innovative surgical robots and novel products for spine surgery, has recently declared that its Renaissance system has been procured by a Florida-based 120-bed community hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Renaissance is the company’s advanced surgical guidance system that is particularly designed for spine procedures. The system will be deployed at Florida Hospital Carrollwood, which is a division of the Florida Hospital Tampa Bay Division of Adventist Health System.
Renaissance is the unique spine-specific robotic technology available in the market. Florida Hospital Carrollwood is the only existing hospital in the Tampa Bay area that uses Renaissance system for an effective spine surgery. On Friday, March 30, the system was deployed.
According to the CEO of Mazor Robotics, Ori Hadomi, the Florida Hospital Network has purchased the Renaissance system for the second time.
