Health Robotics Wins Three-Year Sole-Source Sterile Compounding Robot Contract

Health Robotics declared that it has achieved a three-year sole-source contract from Premier Healthcare Alliance, for its prestigious IV Robots. After its industry-wide market search in the end of 2011, Premier offered this contract. As per the agreement, Health Robotics’ Intravenous Medication Robots will be validated by Premier.

According to the Executive Vice President and the Board Member of Health Robotics, Gaspar DeViedma, following the agreement with Premier Healthcare Alliance, this medical company will deliver IV Robotics solutions to over 80,000+ healthcare sites and 2,500+ member hospitals. Health Robotics now has a direct access to almost 50% of the overall healthcare provider industries in the USA. The international award-winning solutions of Mechatronics including i.v.STATION and i.v.STATION ONCO are representations of intelligent machines. Health Robotics' i.v.SOFT is another outstanding solution considered as a desirable IV Workflow Solution by Premier Health Alliance.

In spite of the delayed initiation of business and prevalence of competitors, Health Robotics has recently achieved 250 worldwide installations through the contract. Following its milestone development of second generation modular architecture of networked medical devices, its clinical workforce software and solutions seem to surpass than that of competitors.

Finally, Mr. DeViedma stated that the USA market apprehends that IV Automation of Health Robotics is now in the mainstream, following the declaration made in 2010 & 2011 about the commercialization of IV Robot and the live results of clinical and R.O.I. from USA-based hospitals. The company has announced its imminent 2012 schedule for the USA's 56-city product education road tour. It will also exhibit and demonstrate its advanced IV Automation solutions.
