Adept Technology, a global supplier of intelligent robotic solutions, has declared that its mobile platform technology featuring innovative navigation features will be demonstrated at the Pack Expo 2012, which will be held in booth N-4313 at McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago between October 31 and November 3.
These innovative solutions will address the major logistics challenges like adaptability in routing, lining replacement, schedule and exception dealing and operation cost overhead encountered by the manufacturing segment.
LaSelle, Director of Global Sales and Marketing of Adept Technology, has stated that Adept’s expertise in including mobile robotic technology in the packaging sector can cope with the growing requirements of their markets. He added that they are dedicated to eliminate the costs and challenges involved in conventional methods of transporting goods throughout manufacturing environments in an adaptive manner for higher productivity in contrast to the traditional automation.
Adept MT400 mobile robot is Adept’s major product line which is driven by Adept’s Motivity Core. It is vision enabled and performs its job effectively and if required it undertakes other tasks automatically. When compared with conventional AGV technologies which feature higher costs and complex installation, Motivity Core-based robots offer a unique feature of natural mobility, thereby addressing various problems encountered by the manufacturers who presently deploy AGVs and also for those who have not employed these solutions due to their constraints.
Along with the intelligent AGVs, Adept will also display Packaging Automation Cell (PAC) which was developed with the USDA approved components and can be availed as a pre-assembled cell for assuring rapid start up and higher output .
