Lab Automation University, which is a joint program between the Institute for Laboratory Automation and Lab Magazine will be hosting a webinar series consisting of two parts under the name ‘Project and Technology Management in Lab Automation’.
The webinars will be conducted by the executive director of the Institute for Laboratory Automation, Joe Liscouski. He is an expert in the field of laboratory automation. The webinar is scheduled on 6 and 13 December at 12.30 PM EST.
The webinar will be useful for lab personnel, the support staff, Lab managers and IT professionals. The webinars are structured to include a Q&A session where the questions from the attendees sent via email will be answered. The webinar will concentrate on points such as the importance of project and technology management in Laboratory work, special considerations for project management of labs, significance of these topics in lab automation, scope of project management. Topics such as Documentation and Planning, Process Management, outsourcing, technology management and validation will be discussed in detail. Automation plays a crucial role in project management and laboratory work is dependent on the usage of intelligent instruments, robotics and informatics. The quality of work in laboratories depends a good deal on the reliability of the automation system.
