The vice president of Crossing Automation explained that their legacy products will be sold in the market without any delay in service or repair when marketed by qualified vendors like GES.

According to the terms of the agreement, GES will be involved in the sale of Axys407 robots and also support the global field for the manufacturing services for new orders, design upgrades and modifications to the product. GES also intends to set up a returned materials authorization center for Crossing Automation products in Vietnam and technical resource centers in India and San Jose for enhanced customer support. The CEO of GES explained that they have been involved with other top OEM companies and this experience will aid in making the contract with Crossing Automation a success and ensure total customer satisfaction. The Axys407 Robot family has been designed to work in substrate removing applications, which need to be executed accurately and in a clean manner. The robot can be integrated with other substrate-handling equipment operated by computers with great ease. These robots are three-axis cylindrical-coordinate devices that come with an additional 4th axis option at the servo wrist joint. The servo controller acts as a high-level command interface protocol using which the system can latch on to hosts. The robot can be configured with specific lengths of arm reach, body orientation, X-travel and is able to withstand extreme environment conditions. The robot comes with vertical lift capabilities, end-effector style and arm reach.
