Niels Erik Hansen, Chief Executive Officer of IH Systems has stated that the incorporation of RIVA system into IV production has made a significant contribution in pharmacy automation. He expressed his happiness about creating a benchmark for improved care and bringing down the probable medication inaccuracies.

The RIVA system is compliant with USP 797 and it facilitates easy compounding readymade sterile doses. At present either they are compounded by manual methods or procured from outside sellers. According to Bill Shields, Director of Sales, IH Systems, the essential features of RIVA system include sterility, consistency and elimination of risk involved in compounding which were effectively demonstrated by the carefully executed site plan. He added that the significant role of the RIVA system in enhancing health care facilities has been reinstated by Mission Health System’s release of the RIVA produced IV solution into production.
