Children’s Hospital at Los Angeles Installs i.v. STATION from Health Robotics

Health Robotics has successfully installed the i.v. STATION at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

This new facility was installed at the Marion and John E. Anderson Pavilion at the Hospital. With this inauguration Health Robotics will be having six i.v.STATION robots operating across the US. The director of the Pharmacy at the hospital pointed out that with the installation of the i.v.STATION the hospital’s pharmacy will be able to provide efficient and accurate service to its patients. The new robotic station was known to be a safe and accurate console for dispensing medicines.

i.v.STATION is a cost-effective and efficient solution which can be used in hospitals and health centers for administering IV admixtures. Some of the features offered by the console are final container flexibility, unmatched precision and safety in patient critical environments. i.v.STATION is now being widely used in the US for supporting pharmaceutical staff in various health care sections such as academic, paediatric, maternity and operating rooms. Apart from this, the console can also be used for supporting compounding pharmacies like Cooperative Services of Florida etc. The vice president of Health Robotics explained that the i.v.STATION was the result of integrating technologies from the field of Mechatronics, digital control, embedded systems and robotics.
