Q Corporation, a provider of SMT production solutions, will exhibit its Fanuc M-1ia Robot at the Wichita Industrial Trade Show (WITS) at the Century II Building in Wichita, Kansas. The company will highlight its new system at WITS, which is planned to take place from October 18 to 20, 2011.
Fanuc M-1ia Robot is a lightweight robot modeled for high-speed pick-and-place, small component handling and assembly operations. The parallel-link structure of this compact robot provides higher accuracy and speeds compared to that of traditional assembly robots. This lightweight system comes in two models (four- or six-axis) for a wide range of applications and it can be set up in various orientations.
The M-1ia is available in three designs including desktop mount with stand, ceiling and angle mounting and robot only with no stand. This system can be attached to the taping equipment for quick and precise component placing.
The M-1ia 4-axis model allows part feeding process from the sides of the work area by expanding the useable workarea. The R-30iA Mate rack-style controller renders intelligent robot operations along with a compact controller. Besides, the iPendant or monochrome pendant, a detachable color-graphic, can be used by several robots on the same production line.
