RVT Develops Vision Guided Robotics Solutions

Robotic VISION Technologies LLC (RVT) has released eVisionFactory (eVF) Version 6.0 to offer enhanced features like simplicity, standardization, commonality, and flexibility for applications in industrial, government, and defense markets.

The eVisionFactory 6.0 provides vision and performs required modification without human intervention to various industrial robots including MOTOMAN, FANUC, ABB and KAWASAKI which are compatible with either industrial communication protocol or serial Ethernet. These vision-guided robotics solutions offered by the company can be availed at an affordable price.

The innovative features of eVF 6.0 are the Vision Manager, circle and multi-camera pose calculators and integrated lighting control. The Vision Manager involves easily programmable robotic procedures, facilitating the integration of various robots and it can handle multiple controllers. The circle pose calculator helps to determine a 3D pose by means of two or more concentric circles. The camera pose calculator is based on the Surround Vision 3D (SR3D) of the company and the integrated lighting control is developed from the vision controller.

The product-line of the eVF Version 6.0 includes single-camera 3D (SC3D), multi-camera 3D (SR3D), structured light 3D (SL3D), single or multi-camera 2D in three degrees of freedom (SC2D), single-camera in four degrees of freedom (SC2.5D), Random Bin Picking (RBP), Direct Depth 3D (DDSD) and Real Time Part Tracking (RTPT).

Among these six products, SC3D, SC2.5D, SC2D and SR3D and RTPT have received patents whereas SL3D, DDSD and RBP are in the pending list.
