Q Unveils Lightweight Fanuc M-1ia Compact Robot

Q introduces the new Fanuc M-1ia Robot. The robot is compact in size and light in weight. The Fanuc M-1ia Robot is designed for assembly applications that involve handling small parts at a high speed. A unique parallel-link structure has been used to design the robot in order to deliver high-speed and accurate movements.

Fanuc M-1ia Robot

The M-1ia is available in 4 and 6-axis models and provides multiple orientations. There are three additional configurations that the robot is available in, namely, robot only (no stand), ceiling angle mounting and desktop mount with stand. The robot can also be mounted on to the taping equipment from Q for ensuring accurate and rapid placement of the components.

The usable workspace with the robot is increased by the option of feeding from the sides of the work space. The robot is equipped with R-30iA Mate controller, which enables intelligent functioning and comes with a compact footprint. The iPendant or the monochrome pendant is detachable and can therefore be shared by multiple robots placed on the same assembly line.
