Ohio Laser, a global leader in laser cutting and fabrication technologies, has installed the most advanced new laser tube cutting system, Trumpf TruLaser 7000 in Ohio which is a high-end laser processing machine with minimal processing costs and maximal flexibility. Available with up to 3600 W of laser power, the product is ideal for extensive range of applications.
Without forfeiting productivity, this CAD-driven system can accommodate oval, rectangular, round, and square tubes from .6" up to 10" in diameter and up to a wall thickness of 1/2 inch. It can process tubes up to 30 feet long and can handle a maximum weight of 500 pounds. With the help of automatic loading system, it can handle up to 8000 lbs of tubes at a time.
The main features of Trumpf TruLaser 7000 includes short set-up time while changing programs, self-centering chucking jaws that need not be changed, automatic tuning of the laser focal position to the material type and thickness, clearance of stack up tolerances, cleaving of a wide range of metal alloys, no solder fixture costs by means of plug in connections. The products produced by this technology include food guards, industrial tables, playground equipment, all terrain vehicles etc. Industries can outsource their production work to Ohio laser for quicker production of objects from cut tubes or pipes.
Ohio laser has recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification which authorizes the company’s metal fabrication operations like laser slicing of pipes and tubes, bending, soldering operations like GMAW welding, FCAW welding and GTAW welding, sanding, grinding and other value added services like 2D, 3D CAD/CAM drawings, PPAP Level I to Level IV.
