DENSO Robotics has launched a new 2011 product catalog, which includes a complete range of high-speed and compact industrial robots developed by the company.
The catalog with 62 pages includes detailed specifications, descriptions and technical drawings of the company’s 6- and 5- axis articulated robots and 4-axis SCARA. It also contains DENSO robot controllers, programming software and teaching pendants.
The DENSO range of products consists of models with payload capacities of up to 20 kg and reaches from 350 to 1,300 mm. The repeatability is confined within ±0.015 mm. Splashproof (IP67), Standard, cleanroom (Class 100 and Class 10), dust and splash proof (IP65) and aseptic configurations are offered.
According to Peter Cavallo, who works as the Robotics Sales Manager in DENSO, California, the company is happy to offer the widest range of compact industrial robots. The catalogue would simplify things and customers would be easily able to find the product information in one convenient place.
The world’s biggest user of tiny assembly robots is DENSO itself, as over 16,000 DENSO robots have been created for use in its own production plants. In addition, over 60,000 DENSO robots are being used by other companies all over the world. The company’s headquarters are located in Kariya, Aichi Prefecture in Japan, which supplies advanced technology, components and systems in the fields of powertrain control, thermal, electric, information, electronics and safety. The company’s customers include automobile manufacturers. It has over 200 affiliates and subsidiaries in 34 countries with a workforce of 120,000 employees.
