Health Robotics Ties Up with Nutricare for Promoting CytoCare Cancer Therapy Robot

Health Robotics has taken on Nutricare ., which is the Pharmacy leader in Costa Rica, as a partner for distribution of its CytoCare Cancer Therapy Robot, representing the entry of Health Robotics into the first Latin American Country and also the 19th new country during the last 20 months.

They had a vision of providing cost-effective and safe Intravenous Admixture Compounding Automotive products to hospitals globally. Dr. Paula Cantillo, the Director for Infusion Therapy in Nutricare reveals that she was thrilled that her company had been chosen to be the first site in the Latin American region for bringing the IV Robotics expertise. This would help them to continue to be a leader in the Costa Rican Sector.

CytoCare has proved to be the first and only robotic system, which would work everywhere in the world for the sterile and safe preparation of Admixtures, which were hazardous and had to be administered intravenously such as Antibody Therapy, Chemotherapy, Gene Therapy and Monoclonal Antibody Therapy. CytoCare has been installed in 67 places in 17 countries and has proved its consummate flexibility for adapting proprietary IV consumables and diverse pharmacy workflows in five continents. Despite other companies trying in the past to develop chemotherapy Robotics, CytoCare has so far been the only robot to successfully break through the barricade to enter the Intravenous Chemotherapy Automation field.

According to Gaspar DeViedma, the Executive Vice President of Health Robotics, the company had crossed a special milestone with Nutricare, as it had reached its sixth continent. He mentioned that he had been totally bowled over by the top quality compounding facilities available in Nutricare, along with their commitment and capacity to deploy their singularly unique robotic and software automation processes in the top-most hospitals in Costa Rica.
