The modular robotic palletizer cells can accommodate CPG manufacturers with small, single-product lines up to those with extensive, multi-line operations. Semi-automatic systems create loads that are lifted with a forklift or pallet jack.
Pallet and load management, sheet placement, integrated stretch wrapping, and other features are all available in fully automated systems.
TopTier has been building robotic palletizing systems since 2008. The new modular system standardizes the most compatible components and allows for wide layout flexibility. This system will set a new standard in the chaotic robotic palletizing marketplace.

Controls
The robotic cell palletizers combine the latest developments in HMI and EasyStack® pattern programming software with innovative machine control technology. Robot programming is not required.
Product handling is made possible by an advanced controls architecture in which an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix® PLC, running standardized PLC and HMI code modules, controls the mobility of the robot.
The HMI panels offer a simple environment for both moving the arm and creating patterns. Operators can change the position of patterns using either drag-and-drop or precise values.
Palletizer capabilities such as automatic and manual operations, pattern selection and setup, system status, alert, and maintenance records are all easily accessible through HMI panels.
Snelson added, “With all modular components at hand, engineering and production times will be reduced and we can provide fast installations. We are now able to provide easy-to-use, ‘Simple by Design®’ robotics within a time frames our customers deserve.”
Safety
Every element of the design of the robotic cell incorporates safety. Incorporating a category 3 safety enclosure with light curtain protection of load exit and controlled door entrance regulations, TopTier complies with the highest industry standards.
