ScriptPro Provides Pharmacy Automation Systems to NIH

ScriptPro, a provider of robotics-based systems for pharmacies, has been selected by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for implementing ScriptPro’s various pharmacy automation systems including robotic dispensing, drug information and pharmacy automation systems in the NIH.

This contract aimed at providing drug identification, supporting the internal control and improving the reliability and competence of drug distribution and consumption. These automated systems are also employed in services like take-home drug orders offered to the day patients.

The pharmacy staff can monitor the work assigned to these automated systems and can manage the cost overheads by means of a closed loop system that can fill in and distribute the medications.

This partnership has enabled ScriptPro to extend its pharmacy services to various government organizations of the US including Veterans Health Administration, all the wings of DOD, public health services, Food and Drug Administration and federal prisons.
