Freudenberg NOK Mechatronics Invests in New Facility

Freudenberg NOK Mechatronics Hungary, leading provider of mechatronics solutions, has reported that it has invested €1 million at its new facility, which is located on the outskirts of Budapest.

Andras Karagics, Managing Director of Freudenberg NOK Mechatronics Hungary, has stated that the warehouse measuring 900 square meters will be altered into a manufacturing hall. He added that LED lights on sophisticated European vehicles will be manufactured in the new plant.

Around 20 people will be recruited for the new plant and the production is likely to commence in April. The company’s 50% stake is held by the Germany-based Freudenberg Group and the remaining 50% stake is owned by the Japan-based NOK Corporation. The company reported a revenue of 8 billion in 2010, while in 2009 the revenue was HUF 5.3 billion. Presently, the company employs 240 permanent employees and 150 staff for temporary services.
