Sparrowbots Robotics Team Wins Gracious Professionalism Award

‘The Sparrowbots’ robotics team of Puckett's Mill Elementary School recently participated in the First Lego League Challenge, which was held at Georgia Tech, and won the Gracious Professionalism award.

This award is offered for the team that supports high-quality work as well as shows regards for both individuals and society.

The theme given to the teams was biomedical engineering. The Sparrowbots team selected concussions as their topic for the project.

They worked on the topic and found an innovative method of notifying coaches and parents on probable wounds. The results of their research was presented to a group of judges and also participated in the robotics contest.
