N-iX’ Robot Takes Part in Track Event at Roborace

N-iX, a Ukrainian IT firm which outsources software and engineering services, participated in the second round of the Open Championship for Robotics titled Roborace held on January 29.

The contest allowed amateurs to display their skills in robotic designing, and also had complicated designs with advanced software. Team events were held for track robot designs. Contest rules were based on capabilities of robotic products.

The annual event is held to encourage young designers, strengthen intellect and spiritualism in young persons, and make robotics more popular. It is meant to enhance team spirit, and prove a platform for exchange of ideas between Ukraine and other nations.

The N-iX team had two members Dmytro Naumov and Andriy Bandrovskyy, who collaborated on building a track robot. The robot moves along the race track with an automatic control system.
