PixeLink Expands PL-C Machine Vision Camera Models

PixeLink has extended its PL-C family of machine-vision cameras with the latest PL-C732 and PL-C734 camera models. These high-resolution cameras offer less-noise images and can be deployed in several industrial applications.

PL-C732 and PL-C734 cameras are developed based on CMOS progressive-scan sensor featuring several pre-processing functions. The PL-C732 model includes 4.0-M pixel imager, offering 29.2 fps at maximum resolution. It also includes an adaptable region-of-interest control, which enables the operation of the camera at increased frame rates. This is performed by positioning a window with lower-resolution at any location. These monochrome and color cameras provide digitization choice of either 8-bits or 12-bits. In 12-bit mode, a dynamic range of 60 dB is offered.

All cameras of PixeLink are provided with PL-C series software development kit. The kit utilizes default API used for all camera models, irrespective of the selected interface. Software code development for one camera model can be easily transmitted to other models of PixeLink without the need of recompilation.
