Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation, today announced that Gary Kaczmarek, senior program manager of CGD, will highlight results from a report on manned/unmanned live, virtual and constructive (LVC) technology at the fourth annual Ohio UAS Conference held in Dayton, Ohio from August 25 – 26.
At the event, Kaczmarek will discuss the results from a study Cubic conducted with Wright State Research Institute (WRSI) in collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), related to design, development and fielding of a first-of-its kind research, test and training range for manned and unmanned air vehicle operations.
"The widespread proliferation and deployment of UASs will require development of rigorous standards and procedures to safely and effectively integrate into the national airspace," said John Jannazo, senior director of business development, Cubic Global Defense. "Cubic is proud to partner with federal government, industry and academia institutions to help review current technologies while helping form future UAS applications and growth opportunities."
Hosted by Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and the Dayton Development Coalition, the Ohio UAS Conference will examine requirements for access into the National Airspace System (NAS), review technologies associated with enabling UAS applications and discuss recent developments within the research and academic community.
Gary Kaczmarek, with support from Cubic's Wright-Patterson operation team members, will be presenting at the following during the event:
