Petpace Remote Pet Health Monitoring Announces Integration with AVImark Veterinary Practice Management Software

PetPace, the provider of an innovative IoT smart collar for remote real-time monitoring and analysis of pet vital signs and activity, today announced its integration with AVImark- the leading veterinary Practice Management Software.

AVImark is one of the largest Practice Management Software vendors with over 10,000 customers around the world, serving about 25% of the market in the United States. A Practice Management Software such as AVImark assists veterinarians as they manage every aspect of hospital operations, including paperless patient health records.

PetPace, the recognized leader in remote wearable IoT health monitoring via a smart sensor-packed collar for dogs and cats, can now easily handle data transfer with AVImark patient medical records. This reduces hospital administrative overhead, and increases data visibility for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, receptionists and other hospital staff. Vital signs and other health-related data collected by PetPace, in the hospital or at home, is immediately available as part of the electronic patient medical record. Likewise, patient basic data is automatically transferred to the PetPace Cloud database to simplify usage of the PetPace system and reduce setup time.

"This integration comes in response to requests from our veterinary clients, and represents another important step forward in PetPace's progress," said Avi Menkes, CEO of PetPace. "The professional version of the PetPace collar is designed to be used by veterinarians on inpatients as well as outpatients. Integration with one of the most popular Practice Management Software packages significantly streamlines the operation of the system in a busy veterinary hospital context," he concluded.
