Expo Center Sharjah along with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize SteelFab 2011 from January 17 to 20, 2011.
SteelFab is Sharjah’s most significant exhibition and the 16,000-square-meter exhibition area will include huge display of welding machinery, consumables, machine tools, supplies and machinery used in metal-working, metal-fabrication and all major segments of the steel fabrication industry. The upcoming trade show will include robotic solutions for metal-working segment as well as several technical seminars.
Lincoln Electric and Celada Middle East will offer presentations on automation and robotic technology. Paul Howe, Regional Automation Manager, Lincoln Electric, Asia-Pacific, has stated that their presentation is customized for clients who require total automation systems for welding operations. He added that their presentation will focus on offering low-cost solutions for all automation requirements of the client through their standard and tailored solutions.
ABB Robotics will showcase a robot at the exhibition, depicting the increased preference of robotic technology at the show. Other significant seminars include 'surface preparation and protective coating equipment' by Airblast Middle East, Acecad Software’s 'software applications in steel fabrication', Donaldson Filtration’s 'filtration systems for cutting systems', Lincoln Electric’s 'process industry welding practices & welding consumables' and Kettenwulf Betriebs’ 'cutting-edge chain technology for fabrication'.
KettenWulf Betriebs will offer presentation titled 'Chainovation', covering research initiatives in chain technology and associated applications for steel developers.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Director-General of Expo Centre Sharjah, has mentioned that the SteelFab trade show introduces latest and innovative technology to the steel fabrication sector in their region, depicting the varying processes adopted by the industries. He added that they will include more new features to enhance the future technology.
