Barry-Wehmiller to Expand National Practice Facility

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group has declared that it will extend its design national practice facility with the acquirement of Delphey-Gerdes Engineering, prominent leader in Western US- based processing segment.

Joseph Wilhelm, Managing Partner of Design Group, has stated that for the past 25 years, their company has been supplying a broad range of project management, engineering and technical services for industrial automation operations like packaging integration and process development. He mentioned that the acquirement of Stahlman Group in 2004 enabled them to include services like total-service engineering for plants and facilities extension. He added that the acquisition of Delphey-Gerdes will widen national presence for their services in customized facility design.

According to Rob Redman, Managing Partner of Design Group’s Facility National Practice, they are looking forward to building a strong national practice by combining the Delphey-Gerdes team with Stahlman Group.

It was reported that the Delphey-Gerdes’ principals will retain their executive position within their company in the Los Angeles office and will serve as regional leaders within the Design Group.
